Heating up. We're talking about the 2020 election probe here in Georgia right now. All eyes are on Fulton County District Attorney, Fannie Willis, as well as former president Donald Trump. We are expecting potential indictments against the former president that could come in a matter of days at this 0.11 lives, Erica Murphy joining us live now outside the Fulton County courthouse. So Erica, we are hearing from witnesses subpoenaed to show up this Tuesday.
That's exactly right. And you're also right in saying that the entire country is watching Fulton County to find out what the D A Fannie Willis will do. Now, we know that earlier a couple of weeks ago, Willis asked the Fulton County sheriff to put barricades outside of the Fulton County courthouse to protect herself and her workers. She also asked that the streets around the courthouse be closed down as a precaution. Now, this week, we're learning that two people are being subpoenaed from Atlanta. We are talking about former Lieutenant Governor Jeff Duncan and Atlanta journalist George cheaty are both being subpoenaed to testify before the grand jury in this case. Now Duncan confirmed to CNN and through his account posting, quote. Republicans should never let honesty be mistaken for weakness. Cheaty stumbled upon a meeting at the Georgia State Capitol where Trump supporters signed documents falsely claiming that Trump won the election.
